BIOGRAPHIE

 German mezzo-soprano Hanna Larissa Naujoks studied in Nuremberg and Hannover and participated in masterclasses with Brigitte Fassbaender, Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, Hans-Peter Blochwitz and Julie Kaufmann. She currently works with Dale Fundling and Hedwig Fassbender. 

After finishing her studies she went straight into the International Opera Studio of the Cologne Opera. She won the 1st prize at the International Singing Competition “Schlossoper Haldenstein” in Switzerland. She was also awarded a scholarship by the Yehudi- Menuhin-Stiftung “Live Music Now” Franken and the Richard-Wagner-Verband Hannover.

She started the season 2022/23 with Wellgunde (Das Rheingold) und Rossweiße (Die Walküre) in Wagner’s „Ring“ at the Oldenburgischen Staatstheater then as Octavian in Der Rosenkavalier at the Opéra Grand Avignon, Page (Salomé) at the Oper Leipzig.

Before this she sang Charlotte in Werther at Tiroler Landestheater Innsbruck, Hänsel at the Theater Hagen und gave her debut as Lucretia in Brittens The Rape of Lucretia at the Staatstheater Nürnberg directed by Jens-Daniel Herzog. 

She was a soloist at the Staatsoper Hannover from 2012 to 2017. Her roles there have included Charlotte (Werther), Dorabella, Cherubino, Annio, Hänsel, Olga, Hermia, Marchesa Melibea (Il Viaggio à R eims), Lola (Cavalleria Rusticana), Mercedès, Meg Page, Babette (Hen- ze’s The English Cat), Second Wood Sprite (Rusalka) and Annina (La Traviata). 

Since 2017 she has worked as a freelancer and covered the role of the Komponist in Ariadne auf Naxos at the Glyndebourne Opera Festival. She sang Octavian, Gluck’s Orfeo, Bersi (Andrea Chénier) and Hänsel at the Mecklenburgisches Staatstheater Schwerin and the Fox (The Cunning Little Vixen) at the Theater Koblenz. 

She was invited to sing at the Semperoper Dresden (Zulma / L’Italiana in Algeri), at the Oper Köln (Erste Magd in Elektra), at the Staatstheater Kassel (Olga/Eugen Onegin), at the Wuppertaler Bühnen (Ramiro /La finta giardiniera), at the Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern (Fox/The Cunning Little Vixen, Fjodor/Boris Godunow) and to the theaters in Koblenz, Aachen, Braunschweig, Dortmund und Würzburg.
